Lilia
What do you think of Lilia? I liked it a long time ago but then it started to sound kind of empty to me. I'm just starting to like it again. Lily is one of my faves and has been since I was little, but it's so common that I'd prefer a less popular variant.I would only call her Lily sometimes at home, but most of the time she'd be Lilia because I enjoy saying it.I pronounce it LIL-lee-ah. Would you pronounce it the same? Do you think it'll get mixed up with Lillian or Liliana? Are the Lily-names too common to use Lilia?

I would pronounce it the same way. I don't think it would get mixed up with other Lili- names because Lilia isn't unheard of. However it might get confused with Lila.

I like it better than Lily, but I prefer it spelled Lilja.

I LOVE IT! Pronounced both ways. It's one of my favourite. I think it's gorgeous. I also love Liliana. Lillian I'm not a fan of. :)

Lilia is beautiful. I pronounce it the same way you do. I am getting rather tired of Lily and Lily-like names. But I'm still glad that the general public is still enamored of them. And I would give the thumbs up to anyone who is considering using Lilia for a baby girl. :-)

I really like it!!
I pronounce it LIL-lee-uh also!
I di not think it it would get mixed up. and no the Lily names are great because Lily is so popular, but Liliana (whichi I love) and Lilia are not that used! It's a great choice!

Oooo, pretty. I've never heard Lilia before. I'd pronounce it LIL-lee-ah, same as you. I just looked up the popularity of Lily. I didn't know it was so high. I'm never met a Lily and only know of one Lillian. I think Lilia is different enough that it wouldn't get mixed up with the other Lil-s. Like I said, it's very pretty. I say go for it.

I really like Lilia and prefer it over most Lil- names. It might get mixed up with Liliana...
I pronounce Lilia LEE-lee-ah, while Lily is LIL-ee.

I've always thought it's beautiful. I pronounce it LIL-lee-ah, too. But I don't like Lily at all (I do like Lillie though). I don't think it would get mixed up with Lillian / Lilliana. I love it.

I'd pronounce it the same way as you. But I very much dislike it. Too many vowels, too frilly in all the wrong ways. I'm just not a fan. I don't think it'd get confused with Lillian or Liliana. Speaking of, I much prefer Lily and Lillian to Liliana and Lilia. Lily-names are very common, at least in the US, but if you really like it, don't let that put you off.
