Despite its nice meanings in other languages, I'm afraid I can't warm to Mira, because in Spanish it means 'look, sight'.
That might not seem like a bad meaning, but there are a few phrases in Spanish which include mira/miras, that ruin as a name for me.
For example...
De miras estrechas - narrow-minded/to look at things narrowly
Mira de bombardero - bombsight
Vida I love though. It means 'life' in Spanish.

Would Mirabel / Mirabelle have the same association in Spanish to you?
Yes it would.
I like Mirabel, but would never use it, because it makes me think of the word mira.
