Re: Trey
in reply to a message by Bear
I did consider Taura to make it less Bible-y but I prefer the way Torah looks. I don't like the name Laura and that is all I see when I look at Taura! (I know it doesn't make any sense as Torah is pronounced the same way just with a "T" at the beginning, but it sounds different in my head!)
I like Trey Julian. I like the name Xavier, but do you think the "a" in -tavo is too similar to the "a" at the start of Xavier? Other than that, I like that combination. Thankyou for your help!

Thanks for the feed-back.
I know what you mean about Torah/Taura being different in your head. That's one of the fun mysteries about names that I like; the subliminal associations we have with them.
I'm glad you like Trey Julian. :-)
I was pronouncing Gustavo as "goos-TAH-vo" and Xavier as "ZAY-vyur." If you are pronouncing them with the same vowel sounds then unfortunately yes, it might not work so well.
Thanks again for getting back to us. I wish more posters did that.
