April's good/alright. I like April Magdalena. I love Rhiannon but it gives off a different vibe than April IMO so I wouldn't want to use them in the same combo.

I love Wren on either gender (same with Raven). I like Falcon and Hawk on boys. I know a guy with the last name Wren, but nobody with it as a first name.

I love April, have mixed feelings on Wren, maybe because it's close to "wrench" but see it as female anyway.

I quite like Wren. For me, the sound is neutral but the look of the name and the imagery it conjures are feminine. So, I'd consider it for a girl.

We're naming our daughter Alice Wren, and calling her Wren for short. To me, Wren is feminine and Ren is male.

I like April, it has a really sharp, neon 1980's vibe to it. Wren I see as very feminine and soft, but it could work just as well on a boy too, I could see that.

I've never met a real Wren, but in a comic strip I sometimes read, there are siblings named Zoe, Hamish and Wren. That's a neat set.

I love Wren! I have never seen it IRL, and never heard someone like it for a boy, it would be interesting actually. I do prefer it on a girl, it's not bad as a full name. However, I like it as a nn also for Florence etc.

I really like the sound of Wren, however, I prefer Ren as a nn for Renata or Lorena. OTOH, there's nothing wrong with Wren.

With, April, I've never been fond of the 'ape' sound. It's that simple.

April's kinda nice and it's around, but not overused. Wren is so-so on girls, but I'd hate it on a boy... too petite and fem. I've only heard of it on girls. Maybe if you use the Croation word for it, it'll work better though. If I heard Wren on a boy, I'd immediately think of a REALLY DUMB show called Ren and Stimpy, which is prob'ly not a good association.
I prefer April Magdalena to April Rhiannon, basically due to the fact that I like Magdalena but really dislike Rhiannon. (it's an ugly trendy name I just don't get)

I adore them both and would use either one. I like Wren best for a girl and funnily enough, there are two Wrens in my son's elementary school. One girl, one boy!

I haven't seen Wren on a boy but I wouldn't blink if I did. April is very pretty and very simple to me - and also sweet.

I dislike April. I'm not crazy about the sound of it and I have several bad associations with it.

I really like Wren, but only for a girl. I don't know anyone with the name, although I have heard of people (all girls or women) with the name.

I would definitely consider using Wren as a middle name for a daughter. I would also consider using it as a first or middle name for myself. (I hate my name and have considered changing it...although I doubt I'll ever actually do it.)

April is really pretty. April Rhiannon doesn't seem like it flows nearly as well as April Magdalena, I think. Similarly, I might try out April Josefina.

Wren, on the other hand, I do not understand at all. It reminds me of "wretched" and I just don't hear what could sound appealing about it. I've never met a Wren, but if I had to use it it'd be male.
