Noelia
WDYT of this? Perhaps with the nn Nona? I find it strang that I am liking it suddenly, as I despise Noelle four out of every five days, and I only like Noel when it is used for a boy and it rhymes with Joel, just like the character on Felicity. I found him delightfully awkward, and the name worked perfectly for hom. But, I digress.Noelia nn Nona - WDYT? Or nn Li (Lee). Just not Lia or Ellie or Noel (pr. No-elle)Noelia Fern
Noelia Gertrude
Noelia Sparrow
Noelia Fable
Noelia Yves
Noelia Sigrid
Noelia Eustacia
Noelia AuroraFeel free to suggest mns. Thanks!

I met a yyoung girl in Mexico with this name. I forget wether she was born on Christmas or Christmas Eve, but I really liked it. She spoke not a word of English, but we talked for over an hour with my little bit of Spanish and actually were laughing and communicating pretty well before the end of the conversation. :) This name just makes me warm and fuzzy when I hear it now. :)Noelia Fern -flows nicely, but I don't care for Fern.

I quite like Noelia but really, the middle names you suggested are just awful. I don't know where you're from but I'm German and since some of the names are used over here I'm a bit familiar with them. I can just tell you that if you're called Gertrude or Sigrid you will just be laughed at. Please don't be that cruel.

Thanks for your honesty. You might be relieved to hear that I am 19 and not planning on children anytime soon, if ever, so these combos are for my personal enjoyment. :-) I'm from the US. I don't think mns would be that big of a deal here, especially with a name that is fairly unique (like Noelia). I didn't know anyone who was heavily teased for a name, much less a middle name. Sure, it mght come out once or twice and be embarassing for 10 minutes, but it passes quickly. Mostly, people were teased for appearence, of all things. So yeah, mns do not worry me much. Arcadia

My feelings on Noelle and Noelia are flipped with yours, ha--I generally like Noelle far more than Noelia. I agree with you on Noel. Dunno the Felicity character, though.I like the idea of Nona with pretty much everything. Nona on its own, Nona for Iona, Nona for Noelia, Nona for Elizabeth, Nona for Mary, etc. ;) It's just one of those names for me--it's so utterly fantastique, it improves the names around it.Aside from Nona and Li, I think Noli, Nonie, Nell, Nellie, and Nella would all be cute as nicknames, too--though Nell, etc, might be stretching it a bit.Noelia Gertrude really appeals to me, personally. Gertrude sort of grounds the part of Noelia I find irritatingly flighty, I guess. Noelia Faustine and Noelia Xanthe also come to mind as attractive combos.Array

Noelia Fern is very pretty. I like the nicknames Noel and Lia the best followed by Ellie. Elle would also work.

Thanks! I like Noelia Fern a lot, too! Yes, I thought about Elle, but it seems so modern to me. I can't decide if that is good or bad. Ellie has never had much appeal to me.Arcadia

I really like this, it's very pretty. I wouldn't use any nickname with it because it's so pretty. I only like Noelia Aurora from your list. What about something classic and pretty like Noelia Katherine, Noelia Rose, Noelia Beatrice, Noelia Madeline, or Noelia Abigail?

i only like Noelia Aurora out all of them...

Yes, I figured this would be the most popular combo, as Aurora is very "in" on this board. Arguably, Aurora is my oldest favorite. When I was three I named my first doll Aurora after sleeping beauty (her name is Aurora in the Disney version). Arcadia

Ooo! I really like Noelia and prefer it to Noelle. Of the combos you've listed, my favourite is Noelia Sigrid, but I also like Noelia Eustacia and Noelia Fern.Nona is a delightful nickname, one that you don't hear too often. I think Nina could probably work, too._____

Hmm... Nina could work. I like Nona a bit better, though. It's more off-beat. :-) I've always considered Nina a "golden mean" name, though -- pretty, not too popular, not too unpopular, professional sounding, good on adult and child...Arcadia
