Re: Jane (ETA)
Love Jane.I've always suspected that I was Charlotte Bronte in a previous life. Had I been there to name her heroine, the still-waters-run-deep Jane Eyre, that is exactly what I would have called her. Well, perhaps Anne would have been in the running too. But Jane shares Anne's simplicity, depth and wisdom. Jane is not flashy. Jane is enduring.ETA: I just wanted to add another plus to using Jane as a fn: you get to have a lot of fun with the mn. Jane Eleanora, Jane Theodora and Jane Augusta are my favorites. Jane Everild too, if you really want to have some fun. Are you interested in any more combo ideas?

The OP may not be interested in more combos, but I sure am. Open the floodgates, Bear!
