Agree about the annoying cultural references. Like people wouldn't have heard of Edward or Ray otherwise (rolls eyes here).
And actually Nicole Sullivan's dad is named Edward!
And I love it how Painter is a trend, while they completely disregard the fact that it's her mother's last name (Kim Painter) and therefore not a fad at all, lol.
