LOTS. I've never met a Jane, but I think it has great "hipster" appeal and I think it will come roaring up the charts again soon.It has a sweet simplicity to it, but also a feistiness. I can easily picture a facially-pierced and frighteningly intelligent Jane working at some kind of beatnik bookstore-coffee shop. I actually think Jane is one of the most "brainy" names to me - right up there with Margaret, Eleanor and Matilda. It also suits a wide variety of middle names, which is very convenient!

I often go by Jane and you got me spot-on, except...I don't even have one piercing.
Yep Margaret also is a very brainy name...I know a Margaret who was accepted into some sort of really exclusive science and technical academy...she ended up turning it down, partially because she didn't want to spend whole days away from her friends.

Thanks! I was wondering if ya'll thought Jane or Harriet would fit a chinese-american baby best. I want to adopt a baby from china one day so thats the reason behind the question. Thanks!
