Millicent
This is a name I never see mentioned. WDYT of it? I think it would be cute with the nn Millie.

I really like it with Millie.

I like Millicent. It reminds me of the poem 'The Day Millicent Found The World' by William Stafford, so there's a good association involved. And I love the nn Millie. :)

I see this name mentioned constantly. It's not my style. Too stout-feeling.

It sounds like a very old name, something your great-grandmother might be named.

I hate it. Old, crusty, and not at all likable. I never liked Millie, either; it sounds so boring.

I honestly want to like this name, but just can't make myself do so. It looks so nice when written down, but then I say it out loud and almost shudder. Millie is cute as a nickname, at least for a little girl. Not sure how well it ages though.

It's not something I'd be brave enough to use myself, but Millicent could be cool in the not-so-distant future. Matilda managed it, and there aren't many old ladies named Millicent now. Millie, on the other hand, I find very tiresome. In the UK all you hear are Ellie Lily Tilly Molly Holly Maisie ... you get my drift. Millie is over-popular itself and just blends in with all the others.

I like it but I'm not sure whether I'd use it.

I agree; it's quite cute with the NN Millie. I don't see it as dated at all really. In fact, I'd like to see it make a comeback.

I used to like it a lot, then someone said it reminded them of "militant" and now I can't get that association out of my head.

I do like it, but much prefer just Millie.

I think it's really cute, and I love the nn Millie. I hear it mentioned around here a lot, but you don't really see it in real life at all.

I should like Millicent. The nn Millie is adorable. It's the kind of old-fashioned name that I love to see reborn. The sounds are nice and delicate.I don't know why Millicent has failed to take root in my heart. I know if I met a little Millicent / Millie I'd smile all day long. I'd love to see someone else use it, it's just not a favorite of mine.
