Constance
I heard this name the other day on the bus, and it got me thinking. I think this is the only virtue name I would give a child. It has grown on me very quickly and I shall soon be thinking up combos.Opinions please :0)Thankyou

I like it a lot. It's definitely one of the nicer virtue names.

It's gorgeousQuite an underrated name, and indeed one of the few truly attractive virtue names.

It's a very pretty name and in some cultures this is not a typical virtue name. In Germany we use Constanze or Konstanze even though we don't use any other virtue names or any word names at all. Well, I think we borrowed it from the French during the middle ages ;)Some combos:Constance Gillian
Constance Isabelle / Isobel
Constance Amelia
Constance VictoriaClara Constance
Sofia Constance
Scarlet Constance
Fiona Constance

I love Constance. I probably hated it long ago, but I first grew to like it from Ingrid Bergman's character in Spellbound. Then I met my best friend and her sister's name is Constance, which greatly lessened the "old lady" image I had with the name growing up.

I like Constance, but dislike the nickname Connie. I would use it if I could be sure that she would never be called Connie.

I like Constance. It feels slightly old-fashioned but I can get over that. I think it would be kind of refreshing to see a baby Constance. Combos I like are Constance Maud, Constance Beatrice and Constance Lenore.

I've heard of that in a book, actually. :)Constance sounds wonderful in combos.
