I don't think you're crazy for wanting to honor your favorite singer. I've often thought of naming a boy Lennon in honor of John. :)
I don't know of another goddess other than Diana, but it is a strong name, isn't it? And I've got to admit, the song is awesome. I think you could get away with it.
