Re: IT"S MALE?!!!!
It sounds perfectly masculine to me. In Irish -a isn't a feminine ending.

How is it pronounced?

It says when you look it up. AY-na.Lol next time you should look at the sex, pronunciation, meaning, history, entomology, and language of origin when you come across a name you've never heard of on here. It's all on here. It's not wise to rush into affection for a strange or foreign name for how it's written without knowing anything about it. Otherwise me might get little girls named Lucifer nn Lucy. Irish Gaelic names are usually pronounced differently than many would expect. Just a piece of advice.

I thought it was Ee anna:) All I can say is: "HOOKED ON PHONICS WORKED FOR ME!" P.S. I really like Ayna! And Lucifer wouldn't be THAT bad! Just Kidding!
