Calista & Camilla
My two newest loves are Calista and Camilla. I've been thinking of them long enough to earn both names a spot on my PNL. I feel they are usable, and would even consider them for another kid.I'm not sure how I came about to like Calista. I was trying to think of a formal version for Callie or Calla, and I thought of Calista, and I just said it to myself and loved the sound. I used to not even like Camilla - I associated it too much with a certain chain-smoking, middle aged, frumpy, British aristocrat. But it has grown on me. Both names fit my criteria - they fit in but stand out, and seem spunky but still classic enough. WDYT of Calista & Camilla. Any middle name ideas?

I prefer the Callista spelling, but Calista is pretty too. It's one of those names that I can actually hear the meaning when saying it out loud -- "the most beautiful" just has to be pronounced Calista in any language.Calista Sophie (the most beautiful Sophie, see?)

You looked at my PNL didn't you? I never would have thought to use these names with Camilla, eventhough they are on my PNL. But I like them.

Calista and Camilla would make a cute pair for twins. ^^

They do seem like twin names don't they? I'm one who would names twins like they were non-twin siblings, therefore I would actually try to avoid using names beginning with the same letter - BUT if I were to use names with the same letter, then Calista and Camilla do make good twins. They even have the same number of letters, syllables, and both end in A. I really like these for twins:Calista & Sylvia - Callie & Sylvie
Calista & Felicity - Callie & LissyCamilla is a little harder to pair, but I like:Camilla & Beatrice - Milla & Bea
Camilla & Philippa - Milla & Pippa
