Sabre just conjures up images of swords and the old ritual of falling on one's sword (the exact term is leaving me right now). Severin just makes me think of "Severin' heads." So yah, lots of violence involved with those names.

If it's Japanese ritual suicide you're thinking about, it's called seppuku or hara-kiri. If it's the Roman one, where people did throw themselves on their swords (like Anthony at the end of Anthony and Cleopatra), then I'm not sure if there's a specific name.

You're welcome, though that's technically not falling one's sword but disenbowelling oneself.
