Marisa /Marissa
WDYTO Marisa? In Italy it's mainly used as nn for names such as Maria Luisa or Maria Rosaria, and feels a bit old, but it's sort of growing on me as a full name, though I'm not sure I'd use it.
What about Marissa? It's a bit more "trendy" than my usual style of name, but I rather like it too.
Do you prefer Marisa or Marissa?

I like Marissa - I feel I should like it more than I do though, if you know what I mean.
I love Marisa. I think it is really pretty. I like both spellings and I don't see Marissa as being trendy because I know it is used in Greek too. It is hardly seen as an old name here. :-)
I think either is fine, but I prefer Marissa.
I've never liked this name. I always thought it's very, very insubstantial, much like Carissa, Clarissa, etc. I like it better spelt Marisa, though.
I prefer Marissa, but dont really care for either. It makes me think of the character on the OC.
I really don't like Marisa\Marissa. To me, it's a name, along with Melissa, Alyssa, Clarissa that "tries too hard." It's TOO pretty-pretty. It just seems to scream, "Look at me! Aren't I pretty? I'm all hearts and flowers and lace! I'm so girly-girly." All of those names just seem too OBVIOUS. Too obviously frilly is what I mean.
Of the two, if I had to choose, I prefer Marissa.
