Re: Sakura!
in reply to a message by Rosa
Isn't Sakura the #1 baby name for girls in Japan ? I like Japanese names and I love its meaning and think that it sounds nice as well but I wouldn't really use it unless I married a Japanese guy or lived in Japan. I mean it's not that ethnic (like Akiko or Hiromi) but I think it would sound rather weird with an English surname (Sakura Miller). Maybe that's just me, though as nobody else seems to have noticed that it's a Japanese name.Still it's beautiful and better than Taylor or something...I like Sakura Isobel, Sakura Alice, Sakura Alix, Sakura Theodora, Sakura Wilhelmine, Sakura Jessamine, Sakura Clementine and Sakura Camille.I like Mildred but it doesn't go well with Sakura at all in my opinion.
