I love Natasha. It's my fave out of the Nat names. Natalie and Natalia are also lovely, but Natasha is my fave.

Gorgeous. It makes me think of War and Peace and my romantic, teenage bookworm years.

Natasha is beautifulI think of Natasha in the film "War and Peace", played by Audrey Hepburn. Very pretty and romantic name."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."
"It does not become me to make myself smaller than I am." (Edith Södergran 1891-1923)

It's ok. I've always found it a bit pretentious sounding, I'm not sure why. The nickname Tasha is cute.
Go on, be evil and get lazy.

It smacks too much of Communist Russia. I prefer Natalie as well.

I don't really like the name Natasha. No reason, really. I do, however, adore Natalie.~Sadie

It has a nice sound and hasn't been used a lot lately.

Ditto, Beckie! *shudders at the thought of horrible Natasha's worldwide* And we always called the awful Natasha where I'm from "Natrasha" ...Trash for short;) So for the bad personal connotation, as well as the ease of ridicule, I give it 2 thumbs down. Plus, can anybody really say it without thinking 'Boris'?
