Anna or Olivia?

Both are fine, but I prefer Olivia.
Olivia, hands down
For me, Anna just doesn't have any substance. It's classy enough, but I prefer it as a NN, and even then, I'm not partial to it. It's not that it's incomplete on its own, but there are times where it seems that way. It just has a plain sense to me.
Olivia, on the other hand, is gorgeous...love it! It's so feminine and so classy.

Anna :-)
It's only the best name on the face of the planet!

Anna!
Thanks.
Olivia. I like Anna all right, but it's never really interested me. Olivia is overused, but it has as very beautiful sound and deserves its overuse. The 'o' of Olivia, when pronounced (sort of O-livia, not Alivia) is also prettier to me than the 'a' (I cannot transcribe the sound I mean, but you've obviously said the name) beginning Anna.
Someone else said that Anna had a popularity advantage, but Anna is nearly as popular, at least in my age bracket. I know quite a lot of Annas (though I also know quite a lot of Olivias). I am guessing popularity's not much of a factor for you, but if it is, it doesn't come into play in this contest.
Random: can I interest you in Oliva? It's the name of an early saint (who was likely fictional), and probably what the name Olivia was based on. It came to mind because it sounds to me like the halfway point between Olivia and Anna.
In short, my answer is: totally Olivia.
