Well, as this pronounciation question keeps popping up for Helena, it seems every few weeks at the moment, and I don't think there really is a majority, just very divided opinions. If there is a majority I have a feeling it's he-LAY-na.
I would instictively pronounce it HELEN-a, unless I was corrected. It's like Helen with "ah" sound at the end.
