Re: Liam

Liam is fairly popular where I am, I don't really like it, but it works. It's short and unpretentious, boyish, but has a bit of an annoying sound to it IMO.
Liam Neeson, Liam Aiken and a film called Liam http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0255321/ come to mind.
That said, William Arthur "Liam" would be lovely. Or if you want Liam on it's own:
Liam Felix
Liam Walter
Liam Gabriel
Liam Thomas
Liam Joseph
Liam Henry
Liam Theodore
Liam Scott
Liam Gregory
Liam Daniel
Liam Nathaniel
Liam David
Like any?

My son is named William, nn Will. At times I have wished that I chose to call him Liam instead of Will, but I just didn't think of it at the time. My sister was planning on naming a boy Liam, by itself, not as a nickname, but as it turned out she never had a boy. I don't really like it as a full given name, only as a nickname.
