I have a theory
that is: when somebody finds out they're having twins, they get overwhelmed with "Twins! So cute!"-ness and it messes up with their logical abilities.
Only a minority manages to retain some common sense.

I agree with you :)
Any names that share the first 2 plus letters are a no go for twins IMHO. I can tolerate first letters for twins (even though it is not my thing, but it is okay for regular sibs for me so I give in), but anything more than that is just BLAH. Creativity and differences can be a good thing...
Agreed!
I completely agree with you...Daria and Darian are WAAAAAAAY too close. The parents probably thought they were being clever, too...
BTW, this is completely OT, but I adore your sig, Tuesday!! It's hysterical! :)

I was watching some comedian who I'd never heard of before (and his name escapes me now...). I heard that joke and was like, "I have to put that somewhere. =P

My mom knew..
A family with two sets of b/g twin siblings. Their names?
Michael and Michelle
Peg and Pat (I'm assuming Patrick)
Ugh.

Yeah, the matchy-twin names thing seems to have been even worse a generation ago or so!
