I love Blanche, but I know it isn't well received in the general population, at least here in the U.S. Blanca is pretty too. Bianca reminds me too much of Binaca, a breath freshener (I think). Also, Bianca always sounds so harsh to me.

Blanche has a fun antique look, but it would probably tie with Bianca. I don't really like any of them.

Bianca only.

Blanca todaybut Bianca tomorrow, maybe. Blanche (English pronunciation) is SUCH an ugly sound to me, and French isn't too much better. Sounds like a fart or a toilet flushing.I like Bianca and Blanca though.

BiancaBlanca is just a color. It's so literal. It's a word. Blanche has a very harsh sound and it is a verb.Bianca has the most pleasant sound and none of the shortcomings of the other names.

Bianca means white in ItalianBianca means "white" in Italian (and so does Blanche in French), so according to your criteria it's also "literal" and a word. These names might be words or colours and have evident meanings but they'well-established, classical names (like some flowers , gems or virtues), so they don't fall in the same category as new made-up word names like Tuesday or Pilot.

er..they all relate to the same name, so yeah basically they are all literal. But then again so are a lot of names, for example Soleil and Violet.

Bianca or Blanche.
I really dislike Blanca, the sound and the look of it is very unattractive to me. Bianca is a really cute name but I think Blanche is more classy although it is very French :)
I think Bianca can be used without people thinking "oh this is an Italian name". Blanche and Blanca are more "ethnic" imo.

Blanca. Bianca is overused and Blanche looks so complex.

I like Blanche (said the French way), Blanca is pretty. Bianca is my sisters name, so I kind of like it. It just grates on me a little when people say bee-AWNK-a.

How else do you pronounce Bianca?

I pronounce it.bee-AN-ka. I guess it's a Brit thing :S

I must admit to not being a fan of bee-AWNK-a. bee-AN-ka is *way* better imo.
