I prefer the spelling Marsha, but I don't care for Silas, as I don't like the sound of it, and I don't fine it masculine sounding.

I'm glad you're pronouncing mar-SEE-aIt's much prettier that way imo, MAHR-sha sounds sloppy to me (the same way a-LEE-sha & feh-LEE-sha and others do)

Marcia...I pronounce both Marcia and Marsha the same, hence the reasoning behind my reply. I know of the way you pronounce it, but I've yet to hear it in person. With the Mar-SEE-a pronunciation, I don't care for the name then. I only prefer the Mar-sha pronunciation.
