Some interesting names from a tiny, private English girls school
I spent the morning at my cousin Lottie's school, the most gorgeous litle school with only 100 girls from 3 to 11. The classes are tiny, max 12 girls, and I thought it was very interesting to see which names were repeated in such tiny classes. I've put a couple of classes besides Lottie's because I worked with a few different ones today and thought some of them were very interesting. Sibs if I know them are in brackets, and all spellings are definate.Form 1 (Lottie's class aged 4+5)

You're obviously in the UK, right? :) That's a good thing, esp. name-wise, trust me, lol. I like:
Charlotte Sophie "Lottie" (twin brother James Frederick)
Iona (Isla) - I love both but not for sisters.
Katia
(Romy) - as nn for Rosemary
Suzanna (Helena) - prefer Susannah
Imogen Angelique (Mathilde "Tilly" and Caius )
Annabel
Eleanor "Ellie" (Ruby)
Louise
Maia
Maisie
Zoe
Tavia (Camara sounds too much like "camera" or Camaro :-/)
Claudia
Susanna
Charlotte
Ella

Why is it a good thing namewise to be in the UK?You've got me wondering now! I move to Canada on April 11, is that a good thing namewise? Lol.And yes, I am in the UK...it'd be a tiny bit difficult to go to my cousins school if I wasn't, lol ;)

All I mean is the U.K. birth announcements are always nicer, classier than the ones in the U.S. (full of babies named Madisyn, Nevaeh, etc.). We don't see many Canadian BA's here anymore, but they're at least slightly better than in the U.S., IIRC. :b

Aaah.Yes this is very true. Sure, they are crazy about using nn's as full names, but at least I am yet to come across a single Madison, Nevaeh, a name with 1000 random y's or even Bailey on either gender! I guess I'll find out ab0out Canda soon enough.
