I like the name, it's nice. I think I prefer the spelling Reid. I do like Reed too though.

I think both are perfectly acceptable. My personal preference is Reid. I just think it looks better.

ReidI love it and would have used it in a heartbeat if I could get my DH to agree, but no luck on that. I had the same problem on which one I like better though. They both seem acceptable. I was definitely leaning toward Reid.

I prefer Reed, both for looks and obviousness of pronunciation. But I don't really care for the name, sorry. It's just too "wordy" and surnamey for me.

I was going to post the same question later today. I'm torn between how I like the spelling. I think Reid would look nicer as a first, and Reed would look nicer as a middle.

I like the spelling Reed. It looks like it flows better to me. However, even thought it's a nice name, I'm not a fan of one syllable first names (except Rose).

I prefer Reed. I dislike the name though.

I prefer Reid, mostly because it's my friend's middle name, plus it just looks nicer than Reed to me.

I prefer Reid better and I like it but it reminds me of this guy I go to school with he's really tall and he's so nice

I like both, but prefer Reed only because it's my mother's maiden name. So if I ever used it (on a boy, of course, and probably as a mn), it would be spelled Reed. BUT, if I didn't have the connection to that spelling, I'd prefer Reid, only because Reed is a word-name of sorts so Reid looks better to me.

I don't care for the name, as I think of the word read, and it just doesn't sound like a name to me. I think I prefer the spelling Reed.
