I totally agree with Italian Princess. Anthony is a tired, overused name (it's origin by the way is Latin, not Italian).Your original message sounds as though you think that the choice of you son's name is yours alone. I think that you should listen to your wife's reasons for wanting the name Antonio (her dad is Antonino, the baby's middle name is your first name), and accept her choice. Think about all she is going through to carry a healthy baby. Is Antonio really so different that you can't compromise?
