Lots of good names here this time! :-D I like/love:
Isaac-Blake Thomas - Although the fn is a tad long, and I'll bet he'll get called Isaac most of the time
Dawson Anthony - Dawson isn't quite my style, but I like it for someone else's child. And the mn makes it even better
Michael David - So-so flow, and rather boring. But I'm just grateful it isn't a kre8iv name!
Grant Marcus - Although here Grant sounds a bit like an adjective: "Go grant Marcus that estate over there!" or something
John Patrick - Lovely, and so nice to hear John again!
Corey Michael - Corey's been growing on me lately; especially in this spelling, my all-time favourite. Nice to see it on a boy rather than a girl
Bryce Tyler - Good flow, a bit trendily blah, but a good name. I think I would've preferred Brice Tyler though, as the Ys really look excessive to me, so close together (it's real easy to overdo Ys visually, I think)
Brendan Xavier - I really like this one! Xavier, despite becoming more popular as of late, is still a cool name, and it goes wonderfully with Brendan imo
Logan Thomas - I like this, but for some reason I think I've seen this before. For some reason it sounds like a celebrity's name, and I can't remember who the celebrity is
Cameron Michael - Nice, and even nicer because this is on a boy. I really don't like it for girls!
Jacob Luke - I like Luke; it doesn't remind me of "puke", unless I specifically set out to look for the similarity (which is there, I admit). Luke makes a great change from other one-syllable mns for boys, such as James or John. However this combo sounds choppy to me, because of the double K sounds. But, again, I'm grateful it isn't kre8iv (boy, that's pathetic, isn't it?)
Lane Richard - Very handsome imo. Lane's uncommon as a fn, and doesn't sound very surnamey to me at all; I like it. Richard too isn't very common nowadays either (although I have two adult cousins by that name)
James Valentine - Handsome, and I love Valentine on a boy
Carson James - Carson's nms, but I like the flow
Thomas Aaron - Good and solid, if a touch uninspiring
Logan James - Another "this sounds like a celebrity's name", but a nice one. Bland though
I also quite like Darius Nathaniel. Pity it was spelled Darrius.
Emma Lynn - Prefer Lynne for a girl, Lynn for a boy. Popular, but pretty
Ava Grace - So boring and popular! But decent and pretty enough; at least it isn't kre8iv
Augusta Rose - I don't mind Rose in this case; Augusta makes this combo seem wonderfully old-fashioned, almost Victorian. I can't recall Augusta being used on a baby recently at all!
Corina Charlotte - Prefer Corinna. The same initials don't bother me here because of the different sounds the C makes in the two names. Lovely combo imo
Audrey Sue - Don't like Sue as an independant name; and it was, in decades past, a filler mn. But now that Grace and Rose are the filler mns du jour, Sue somehow makes a more refreshing mn now. I do like Audrey--especially in preference to Aubrey for girls!--despite it's popularity. King Henry VIII reputedly had an illegitimate daughter named Audrey, though I forget where I found that info
Sarah Marie - Very boring, but OK. I still like Sarah, despite its overuse through the centuries... on the other hand, it's overused because it's a legitimately pretty name, with a pleasant meaning and good history; and that's quite different from trendy names being overused imo
Katelynn Marie - Before tomatoes are thrown at me, I must say I hate this name if it's an "alternate" form of Caitlín. However, I prefer to think of it as merely a combo of Kate and Lynn, and that makes it tolerable to me. I prefer Katelyn, purely out of seeing it most often, but Katelynn isn't terrible and actually emphasises the Kate and Lynn combination more than Katelyn does imo. Still, this combo is quite bland and boring
Lydia Pearl - I'm with you, this is a lovely combo! Very Victorian, I think. And Pearl is such a nice mn: fillerish (one syllable, very simple, flows well with a lot of fns) without being an actual filler mn
Neviah is sadly illiterate: if you're going to spell a word backwards, spell it right. Nevaeh is "Heaven"; Neviah is "Haiven"! And the misspelled male name used as a female mn!
But I think Tatyonna's the saddest of the bunch. It's not even as if Tatiana (or Tatyana, which I dislike but admit is an accepted spelling) is all that common! Maylyn looks a lot better than Maelynn to me, but it's still very, very trendy.
