Stacy may have been popular in the 1970's, but its still a pretty name that would be nice for a modern child.

Yes, Stacy and Tracy were both popular for girls in the US. Tracy was more popular and for a longer period. Tracy peaked at #10 in 1970 while Stacy peaked at #32 in 1971 and 1973. You can compare their popularity on a graph on this site.
