I would discourage using any name with red or orange connections for a red-haired baby.
Gin is a drink I find unpleasant, so Ginny doesn't appeal to me at all.
Georgina is an excellent name, but for nn purposes I find Gina or Jean more likely and also much nicer.
The only Ginny I know is, reluctantly, a Virginia.
