Re: Melody
in reply to a message by Amandine
I taught a Melody Miller once. Very beautiful child, lazy and naughty. When I mentioned to her class that their names were words and had meanings, everyone was interested but Melody was amazed and excited, and jumped up and down, begging me to tell her what her names meant. Not a thinker! By the way, she was learning the piano, so the word melody shouldn't have been unfamiliar. I have difficulty imagining an adult Melody.

I met a Melody who was in her 50s or 60s a couple weeks ago. I think it had about the same energy as Heidi, Penny, Carmen, Polly, Suzanne, Gloria, Hope, Charity, or Rosemarie would've had for someone the same age. It sounded youthful/energetic but not immature.
