Yes. It’s a no for me. Honestly when I see Dixie all I see is Dixie D’Amelio anyways who isn’t a particularly bad or good namesake but just OK. But the Dixieland thing is just disturbing especially as a person of color. The Dixie Chicks changed it because of that. It’s just too southern Belle for me.For what it’s worth, it wasn’t the most pretty girl name to begin with.
