These names fell off the Top 1000

Many of these names feel dated to me (and I'm not even American), but I'd like to know other explanations.~*~*~*~kuin metsäorvokki laaksossa

I actually like quite a few of the names there! Some are a bit surprising - why Belle isn't more popular, I'll never understand, especially when Bella IS. Harris not being cool is unexpected, and Darwin dropping off is too.

Belle may not be as popular because it sounds like bell. When it comes to instruments, it seems like names/words that mean "person who plays the instrument" are more popular than instruments as names. Harper and Piper are common but not Harp and Pipe. I could see Carillonneur taking off as a name.
