It seems like an 80s/90s name in the US, although it was never super popular, and I think the sound has stayed common (
Gage,
Peyton,
Sage), so it doesn't really seem dated.
Page for a boy comes across as more old-fashioned but not particularly weird or girly.
This is probably weird to say, but for a girl, it seems about like a more modern
Polly to me? Whatever that vibe would be.
I didn't like the
Paige I knew as a kid (thought she was a brat) and it was grouped in my head with
Taylor back in the 90s, but I feel like
Paige has aged better as a name than
Taylor.
