I've always thought Bellamy was rather silly & odd sounding, like "Belly Me's!". But on a pet? It's fine. Pets have a much wider scope of naming than people. Growing up on a farm I've had animals named Diesel, Pillow, Pink Ribbon, Little Man & Bluebell before. There are other diminutives & variants of Cecilia that I prefer more but it's fine. Still a shade too old lady-ish at the moment imo but it's time will come again.
