Re: Michelle
I actually love Michelle! I absolutely know and agree that it feels dated and very common in the English-speaking world, but I began loving it before I knew it, and it's too beautiful for me to stop loving it just because of that. :D I love the sound of Michelle, it's meaning, and, probably most of all the huge nickname potential it has. I would never use it on a real life child because of the datedness and commonness in the English-speaking world, but also because over here where I live it would definitely be regarded as pretentious. Plus I have a cat called Misha so it probably wouldn't be the best idea anyway. I also absolutely love our Polish Michalina, as well as Michaela, but preferably pronounced the Scandinavian way (mee-kah-EH-lah) rather than like Makayla.Emilia Anna, proud and doting cat mummy to Russian blue Misha
