I think I must just not "get it."
Maybe, Jeanne alone doesn't seem to honor the saint in France, so they add d'Arc so it'll be on the nose? Okay.
In English it sounds basically like John-dark (but with a ZH). Which is not very appealing.
I like Jeanne though.
