I do like it, but it does feel kind of tired and dated. I hate the spelling of
Jemma.
Gemma is nice, it makes me think of gemstones.
Yes, I agree, it will die quickly. It just got more popular in the US as a less common alternative to
Emma but soon people will be sick of
Emma and
Gemma.
I think in the UK
Emma and
Gemma were popular at around the same time (70s, 80s and a bit of the 90s).
