Re: Milena, Melina, Malina & Mirabelle ...

Milena means "Gracious" - I think it's pretty, and I love the meaning.
Melina means "Honey" - like this slightly better than Milena
Malina means "Raspberry" (or a form of Malcolm) - like this the best, plus I like the idea of a little raspberry running around, giving my raspberry raspberries, etc., lol.
Do you pronounce Milena as mih-LEE-na or mih-LAYN-ah? I prn all 3 names as muh-LEE-na...either b/c I'm lazy or from the Mid-west where we don't differentiate our vowels! :o)
Personally, I think Mirabelle will age well (it's on my list as a possible mn for Jeanna, but spelt Mirabel, b/c Jeanna Mirabelle would look a bit too frilly). You know me, I'm big on longer fns with cute nns, so I'm all for Mirabelle, nn Mira. And I can absolutely picture you with a little Mirabelle Ruth, nn Mira. I love the fact that this combo honors so many people! Same with Jeanna Mirabel (Jeanna honors my paternal grandma, bio-mom, & DH, Mirabel honors my mom, MIL, both of DH's grandmas, & my maternal grandma). If I were you, I'd write this one in stone (or at least ON stone so it feels more permanent, lol).
