Hubby's given name is Aurelian. He was named for his maternal grandfather who was of Swiss German heritage. His mother called him Aurie as a nickname, spelled this way. But somehow that evolved into Orrie which is what literally everyone else calls him. He is rarely called Aurelian and his late mother is the only who called him Aurie and spelled it that way.
