I think Louise fits in better currently than it would otherwise, because Eloise is on the rise, and they sound so alike. I prefer Eloise, which sounds younger and more energetic to me, but I like Louise, too; it sounds grounded/bold/understated in contrast - very likable at all ages, even though it's not a name I'd use.

Or, the vibes I get are like... Eloise is to Vivian, Iris, Penny ...as Louise is to Frances, Myrtle, Diane.
