I'm partial to the sound, but there's a lot of potential for people to mishear it (which is my pet peeve about my own NN, Tory - I've been called Cori, Lori, and Troy a lot)...
Jory, Cori, Tori, Lori, Rory, Dory, Nori, JoyAs a full name, I'd prefer Jory to Jorie. I think I'd prefer Marjorie without a NN, but as I said, I do like the sound of Jory, and Jorie works okay as a NN for it Marjorie.
