No more or less than any other name, surely? But, believe what you like if it gets you through the day.
Enid is often grouped with Edith and Ethel, which seems like an injustice: it is cleaner and neater, to my ears anyway. I've only ever known one Enid, and her nickname is Dinnie, which is interesting!
