I have no opinion on "Teen Mom," other than that I find the concept of the show depressing.

Vada is the name of the main character in "My Girl," played by Anna Chlumsky. I met one baby in real life named this, and her parents said they named her after the movie character. I'm guessing that's where these people got the idea, though I don't know why they spelled it the way they did. Novalee & Vaeda do sound like sisters, though.

I could see Vada, or Vaeda, gaining popularity because they fit with trending names like Ava, Nova, Avery, Layla... short and punchy.
