I love names that bring positive meanings!
Irene (ee-RE-ne in my pronounciation) is in my list since I was a child. But it Is quite common in my area and I know three of them at least (one is a relative) so I prefer it as MN.
Irena Is quite plain. I suggest you Irène (like Némirovsky), Irina and Arina.
