Re: Andreas, Anders, or Andrew? (m)
I've never enjoyed Andrew - it always seems weak and wimpy. Anders would be the best of the three, but where I live it's a dictionary word meaning 'otherwise'. Andreas is too firmly linked to European languages I don't speak! Plus, the only Andreas person I've ever known was thoroughly unlikeable. My favourite male An- name would I suppose be Antony. Nothing else rings a bell at all. Not Anthony, though - I wouldn't take the risk of having it sound like Anth instead of Ant.
