Honestly, I don't have any association with it! And that might make me a little uncultured but I never did the Shakespeare play with Ophelia (and I really wasn't going to read the other of Shakespeares works in my own time)… I've never seen Pan's Labyrinth either.So for me, Ophelia is a clean slate. It reminds me of Octavia (which is my #1 girls name) only much softer and flowery. For me, Octavia is boy shorts, dirty knees and rock music, Ophelia is a flowing paisley dress, pale skin and running through a Spring field.Ophelia is sweet, I change my mind regularly on whether I like "Fifi".
