We don't use it where I'm from so people would probably just trip over it until someone helped them out.
I pronounce it YO-ah-nah and yo-AH-nah (very similar to my ears), but mostly because I assume it's pronounced similar to Ioan.
I like it. It's not my favorite Romanian name, but I really like it still. I just, for whatever reason, can only picture it on an adult which keeps me from loving it as much as some other Romanian names.
