I way prefer Brendan, it is handsome but also has a sweet soft side. Plus I love the nn's Bren and Danny.Brennan is a bit surnamey while Brandon feel a bit too macho - they are still good names just not my favorites. I'd be more likely to use Brennan before Brandon. I'm not a big fan of the nn Bran because it makes me think of cereal bran. Also Brando, Brad, and Don as nn's are even more masculine than Brandon.
