I think it has a pretty sound. The problem for me is with the meaning. Not that it has a negative meaning, but it has a neutral one. One's destiny can be good or bad, but it needs context to know which it is. The word by itself is neutral. I don't see the point in a word name unless the meaning is positive. I like Liberty, for instance, and almost all other word names have a positive meaning. So it just smacks of "Oh it sounds purty" with no further thought.
So OK, a lot of feminine names are given just because the parents think they sound pretty, but when in addition to that the name is a common English word with a well-known meaning, then I think that the word should have a positive meaning.
