This is my sister's name so I have purposely not read the other comments before I post. I might amend later.
I happen to like Felicia, but think Felice or Felicity are sooooo much better.
My main problem is that there are no flattering nicknames. As a kid I called my sister Fefe, which is... well, a dog name.
As an adult I call her Fel. Not awful, but not flattering.
In the end, Felicia looks pretty written down, but there is something lost in the out-loud translation.
My sister absolutely hates her name.
My parents chose it for the meaning and I do like that bit. But when there is the delicate Felice (like Fel-ees) or the spritely Felicity on the table... Good bye Felicia.
